Utah 1999

Here are some photos that I took when on a business trip to Novell in Utah. I managed to find an afternoon to drive up into the mountains for a little rest.

I didn't stay in high priced hotel.  But the view was still pretty good despite the gloomy weather.
Obviously, it was little cold during the evenings.  This was my rental car.
This is the base of the ski run at Sundance.  I arrived way too late to go skiing, but enjoyed the sunshine and cool air for a while anyway.
Sundance has several meeting rooms and this stream meanders through them all.
A view from the cafe where I enjoyed a little rest.
This little two lane road is the only one that leads to Sundance.  It's a very scenic route.  But also a little scary.
That scenic road eventually runs into a highway.
This is the football stadium on the campus of Brigham Young University.  It's a nice stadium, but not terribly big.
If you look hard enough you can see the large "Y" on the side of the mountain in the distance.
Just outside of town in the mountain foothills there are some good views that would be even better if there were no power lines blocking!
This is one of the buildings that Novell uses.  I worked here for a few days to help integrate Pervasive.SQL into the Novell 5 installation.  The construction in the back is a new building that was being built for Novell.
Novell's building again.
