Here are some photos that I took when on a business trip to Novell in Utah.
I managed to find an afternoon to drive up into the mountains for a little rest.

The Longhorn Band shows up early and
marches into the stadium. |
At this time the east side upper deck was
still being built. So everyone was concentrated on the west
side. |
The athletics complex at the south side of
the stadium was also under construction. |
The alumni center was hoping with
activity. |
All the trappings of game day were there,
even the big Texas flag. |
"The Eyes of Texas..." |
And the scrimmage begins. |
Over 20,000 fans were on hand that
day, the largest for spring practice ever. |
Closer to the construction on the east
side. |

The fans line up for players' autographs. |

DE Aaron Humphrey. |
QB Richard Walton was a class act. He
waited in the wings for James Brown to graduate and got his
opportunity as a senior in 1998... |
Then he hurt his throwing hand in the
second game, Major Applewhite took over and the rest is
history. He never complained. |

Is this TE Derek Lewis?? |
